When i plug it in my dellinseron 1505 laoptop it reads it as a camera instead of a ipod and i dont know why. and when i go to see what memory it has it says that my ipod has full memory help please i need music and please help please im helpless and am worried please post as soon as you can ill be deeply DEEPLY appreciative, thanx.
When you plug an iPod Touch or an iPhone in the computer sees it as a digital camera. In order to load files or to see what is on it, you need to open iTunes. If the player is not recognised in iTunes you may need to restore it. If that is the case, press and hold the power button on top and the home button at the bottom of the screen till it shows the apple, then release the power button but keep holding the home button till you see the screen with the iPod cable and the CD. Then open iTunes and connect the iPod. It will say it detected an iPod in recovery mode. At that point it will restore the iPod's firmware and reset it to factory condition.
