Re: share station says incompatible disk
The Everio ONLY accepts DVD-R discs, nothing else. I do not know why. I use the cheapest discs that I can find as I have found through the years that they work the best. I have had my Share Station for about 3 years and it works great.
Bought the share station to burn dvds, unit continually says that disc is not compatable. Never used it,Warranty is 1 day past the year and company said to buy other discs, still did not work. After reviews found out that product is junk and company says that repairs will cost more than I paid for it. Is there any one that can help?
If there is a simple fix I won't throw it out, otherwise it's history.
Thanks, Tom.
it acts ***.
I have a JVC GZ-MG157 and JVC DVD-R discs that they suggested where I bought the camcorder, and a JVC Share Station DVD burner that they also reccommended.. and all I get is a incompatible disc error when trying to burn a disc. This is actuall the first time I have tried to use it since I bought it close to 2 years ago. I have used the camera quite a bit, but have never tried to make a DVD till now because I had lost the AC adapter for it and you cant burn DVDs with the battery use, and I bought a battery charger that only charges the battery off the camera. Well, now I have a AC adapter cord finally and started trying to burn a DVD and all I get is this error. HELP!
I've tried the disk that came with the Everio, plus 2 other brands, and none work. I bought my burner on ebay, so I am totally out of luck! I even had to go buy a new power adapter for my camcorder to even try to use it!
Did ANYONE ever find a solution?!
My Everio Share Station would accept some disks some of the time, but not all the time. Now it won't accept any disks at all. The JVC camera I bought isn't bad but the proprietary software they use to encode the files makes the camera essentially useless, especially when the Share Station won't accept any disks.
Do you feel suckered? My jvc everio dvd burner also says the discs are incompatible. How can this problem be solved? This is not good PR for the brand.
