Sounds like a pressure switch may have it shut down. It could be the main circuit board but not likely. Its in the control circuit and will need to be troubleshot

SOURCE: friedrich m18cf have timer blinking

If I see a code blinking and all is normal as far as I can tell it means something is in a time out mode and counting down to energize. This may not be the case but let it run and blink for a few hours and see if it comes on.

Mark your watch so you can see how long it takes to change or start.

If it does start then you know about how long it will take to recycle.

Assuming you have changed the batteries in the remote (if you have such), and it does this again do not use the remote again, if possible. Try it with manual only. Remote - remove batteries, this will eliminate the remote as the cause.

Next is find the legend of the codes for your unit. Sometimes they are located by the wire diagram on the unit its self, under the wire terminal panel.

If this helps you please rate me as high as possible. If it gets you on the track and need more help tell me what you did and what you found, post it and I'll post back asap.
Thanks for using fixya. and Good Luck.

SOURCE: Fujitsu Heat Pump - problems

I had the same problem. The heater did not work in heating mode. However it was OK in air-conditioning mode. The operation light and the timer light blink twice and then the operation light blinks for 5 times followed by few seconds non blinking, then the cycle repeats again. I have read on the internet that you better unplug the power cord and then plug it again so that the heater re-sets itself. My only problem was that my heater is directly plugged to the power with no visible plug. So I went to the main distribution board and put off the power for about 20 seconds for the whole home. HOORAY!! The heater worked after that.

Timer & clock not set but timer comes ON & starts blinking & cuts off the ,cooling. Gas is newely charged, filter ok

You have to try resetting the system. First turn the breaker off for the condenser and wait about 20 seconds. After you turn it back on the system should reset.

Hi,

Your model doesn't have a reset button, this is non-electronic. First, tap on control panel to see if cold control is stuck. (tap on beat) If it starts it could be a bad control. Does to compressor click like it wants to start? Lastly, there is a defrost timer within the control housing, with a screwdriver rotate the timer slowly to see if the timer is stuck. If the unit starts running it could be that the timer needs to be replaced. Get back to me and I can help further if needed. Good Luck

Blinking lights

You say the "FORNT" lights blink and the system "Wont" start?
That is because the Hard Drive is not functional, or the Operating System is dysfunctional. Reinstall Windows... no other choices. If you can not install Windows, the drive is bad.
