1) Motherboard uses a Socket A processor socket. Also known as Socket 462.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_A
When they switched from the Athlon single-core processors, to the Athlon 64-bit dual-core processors, they went to a completely different processor socket.
AM2,

So using the MSI MS-6380E motherboard with a dual core AMD processor = NO.
I don't seem to find an AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.8GigaHertz processor, except for a mobile version. One used for a laptop in otherwords,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113047
Uses a Socket S1 mobile processor socket,

Pretend like I'm from Missouri, and Show Me.
Find the processor by it's AMD part number, and post the URL of the website in a Comment.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+
SINGLE-core processor, not X2.
(Socket 939 processor socket, too)
Show me the Processor, and then we can go on.

Oh yeah; A) Has an AGP 4X expansion slot for a graphics card,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerated... http://computer.howstuffworks.com/agp.ht... The ATI Radeon X1800 graphics card uses a PCI-Express x16 expansion slot,http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/g... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express You are at 0 for 0 so far. Plus you know that Windows that is on the harddrive right now, will not work with your new motherboard. You will need a fresh, new Genuine copy of Windows, unless you are lucky, and the Activation screen comes up.
