How to install Graphics Drivers, Nvidia and AMD Radeon!!!

In order to get the best performance out a device one needs to have the most current/latest drivers installed on your computer system. The latest drivers provide better performance because they enable your operating system to make better use of the device, this therefore means the device operates effectively.

Today you will be learning to install the latest drivers for your graphics card, so your computer can run at a higher resolutions and give you the best performance available from your graphics card.

The manufacturers of Graphics Cards are shown below, click the makers name to download the drivers.
Nvidia Graphics Driver for Nvidia made Graphics Cards.

AMD Graphics Driver for AMD/ATI Radeon made Graphics Cards.

Select your Graphics Card model and Operating System.

Download and install.

Note: Only use the drivers provided for your make and model of graphics card!!!

Not sure if the problems are related but my hp pavillion dv7 - 1130us hangs up when trying to power down and must use a hard (pwer button) power down. Also, there are 4 USB ports all of which are no longer allowing the devices connected to them to work although the computer "sees" the devices except one port has the wireless mouse connected to it and it still works - please help!

It sounds like you need to download and install the latest firmware update and drivers for your laptop. I have included the link to your laptop. You need to select your original OS and and download the firmware and flash utility to install it and do so. The update all of your drivers to the latest driver available from this site. Allow it to override any driver you currently have. This should fix your issues and restore your system to working order.

dvd cd rom [ code 10 ] does not work

The Code 10 error code is generated when Device Manager has insufficient information or the error that is bubbled up by the device drivers is not recognized by Device Manager. Additionally, this error may occur when one of the drivers that the device needs does not start. If many drivers are being used by a particular device, it can be difficult to determine the one that failed.

The Code 10 error resembles the following: This device cannot start. (Code 10) The most common resolution is to update the drivers that are associated with the failing device. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. In the device's Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab.
  2. Click Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard.
  3. Follow the instructions to update the driver.
Note You may be prompted to provide the path of the driver. Windows may have the driver built-in, or the driver files may still be installed from the last time that you set up the device.
