Hello,
You have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitorswill
blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts calledcapacitors
overheating in the confined space of he monitor. If you aregood at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix he problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htmYou
can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad
parts, replace any that look like the pictues and your monitor should
workfine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and
-connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one
thesame way. If you don't want to try the repair yourself we offer a repair service for $35 plus shipping. I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

3 ideas here. bad connections on the coils inside. the inverter board has gone bad, or bad capacitors on the power board or inverter board. all of witch should be serviced by a qualified service center.

You probably have failure in the inverter circuits due to shorted transistors, bad solder joints, bad caps. Please see my pictures here so you will know what to look for inside.

Pleasec look through my albums so you will know what to look for.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.
