Make sure to download NIC drivers and save to pen drive or disc. Check HP site. Then you can install any OS if you don't have the recovery disc. Companies usually don't offer full downloads of recovery software.

Hello,

Do not press on F8. What you need to do is to do a start up repair. Select the option to repair the operating system. Then it will load some files. JUst wait for it to complete the loading process or the repair. It will tell if the repair is successful or not. If it doesn't fix the problem, then, you need to install the operating system to your computer. But, remember that operating system re-installation will return your computer to scratch. It will erase everything including the files and programs that you have added in your computer. But, if you don't have anything to lose then do the operating system reisntallation.

hello

it sounds like you need to order the CD recovery set from Dell (cost about $50). Once you receive the recovery Cds, start up system, insert the CD and press F2 to override the start up to repair files. Once you get to the screen (F2), select "boot from CD", press ENTER, and the system should get you into restore to factory default (FORMAT DRIVE) . From here on , you can format the drive and reisntall the OS . It will prompt you to insert the MULTIMEDIA CD . This will allow you to restore to original factory setting.

please issue 4 thumbs up so i can remain available to you.

I reisntalled my windows and now there is no internet.

If you have the NIC card (ethernet card or dial-up card installed)
Go to control panel and go to device manager.
You will see NIC card on the menu
Go to the properties menu and click on update driver.

You can also also remove the card and reinstall, go to add/remove hardware and try reinstalling and download drivers.

Lastly you can search the internet for the drivers alone and download the latest ones.

Mikomi optical mouse lights up but does not work

Uninstall the Software Driver then restart Windows. Windows Will re - detect the mouse and you will have to reinstall the Driver software for the wireless mouse. Or after uninstalling the Drivers, Remove the USB receiver and reisntall the software first then plug in the receiver then restart Windows. Check the battery for the mouse as well.
