Portable AC model # LG 1010SNR. There is a message(P2) on the screen and it will stay on for more than a few seconds.

If its an LG Portable air con, P2 means that the water tank is full and needs emptying.

I am not completely familiar with these units but I believe they use a float to determine condensate levels. This float may be stuck in the raised position.

I have lg ac with fan control in remote. Model no. LSA5NF5VFC1.AN48DV1(ll) so i want new remote of my lg ac along fan control.

Air sensor not fixed in position or defective. check and replace it.

Its hard to say with out some more information like what is the HP of the motor and what is the cubic ft per minute SCMF RATING and what size is the air tank. And is the compressure a single pistion dry lub or larger oil filler unit . Off the top of my head if it humes your getting power to the pump . If the tank has on air pressure in it . I would look for a binding problem see if the fan will spin freely . If it has a belt remove it and see if the pump and the motor spin freely . It sounds like a mechinacil problem as apposed to electrical

Lift up the window securing the AC, and CAREFULLY tilt back the unit. The water lays towards the back of the A/C under the fan.

This works 100%.

-open and burn the ISO to a CD-RW
-turn on dvd player with no disc in
-insert the CD in dvd player
-Wait until the on-screen region menu appears
-press "0" (zero) on dvd remote
-press pause on dvd remote

the dvd player should go back to normal operation and be region free.

What happens on this unit is it will suddenly stop followed by a series of chimes. You can reset the unit, but it will end with the same set of chimes. My unit display had a P2 code. As mentioned above, I drained the water (small amount actually) in the shower. Note: There is a cap towards tha bottom of the unit that you will need to unscrew, then pull out the rubber plug. Fired up the unit after the water drain ... it worked fine. If they can make a GI Joe talk ... why can this unit simply say ... "Please Drain". P2 is so intuitive.

The following hack worked for my player. It works for most LG and Aiwa players too. To hack the player try this:

• Power on player with no disc inserted and wait for "No Disc" message on screen
  
• (using the remote) Press PAUSE
  
• Press the numbers 314159 in order. (player should now show "COdE - -" the same as below)
  
• Press the number of the region you desire ( 0 = any region, 1 = US&Canada etc.)
  
• Press PAUSE
  
• Power off the player for a few seconds..power back up and insert your DVD disc
