Press the cyclone release catch with your thumb to remove the

clear binTM assembly from the machine.

• When removing bin, do not pull up on carry handle while pressing cyclone release catch

• When replacing the bin, ensure it clicks back into place.

Remove the dust cup by pressing the button on the top of the cup.
Pull cup out.
Place over garbage can or into a bag and press the red button.
Shake a bit until cup is empty.
Return cup to holder and secure it by pressing in until it clicks.

Actually Fixya does have the owners manual for your particular model downloaded to their site. Please see page 5 of the instruction manual that will explain how you can empty the dust container. Also instructions on basic maintenance in terms of the filter replacement, and belt changing. This is a very useful booklet to have.
