ASUS Tablet TF101 Wont Charge

Plugged into wall charger and nothing. Plug into notebook and when tablet is on it says it is not charging. However, when tablet is plugged into laptop and tablet turned off, it slowly charges and it says I have more battery life when I turn it back on. However tablet says it still isn't charging.

SOURCE: THE TABLET BATTERY DRAINED DEAD NOW IT WONT POWER

Have the power adaptor checked by an electrician, most probably you will need a replacement.

If you establish that the adaptor is working, then something happened to the battery charging circuitry in your Asus and it will need repair.

If it's still under warranty, then you are good, otherwise it would be better if the adaptor alone failed, as replacement adaptors are rather inexpensive compared to laptop repairs.

SOURCE: My ASUS R1F-K049E Tablet does not have sound.

Reinstall your sound driver. If you do not have the CD that came with the motherboard, then you can downlooad the sound driver from Asus.

Go to the following link and type in R1F in the box (top left corner) where it reads "Input model to search for" Next box, select "All" it will ask for your operating system, and then give you the drivers (including audio)

SOURCE: Hello, how much would it

That depends on your warranty and what sections of it are damaged. I would contact a certified repair facility, like Best Buy or Microcenter. They will be willing to give you an estimate up front.

My tablet was in use, needed charging, it shut off. Now it won't charge or come on

It sounds like there's a problem with the charger. The wire on the charger is rather delicate. So is the port on your tablet where the wire plugs in. There may be a break inside the wire. If you dropped your tablet while the wire was plugged in and it hit the floor on the charger plug, the charger plug could have damaged the charging port in the tablet or the wire itself could be damaged.
Find someone else who has the same tablet and ask to switch chargers to see if either of them still work on the other tablet. If your friend's charger starts charging your tablet without a problem, then the problem is a a broken wire in your charger. If neither charger will charge your tablet but both chargers charge your friends tablet without a problem, then the problem is with the charging port on your tablet.

Is the only way to charge this tablet by plugging it into a computer?

Depend what model "this tablet" is. Generally tablet chargers have a USB connector at the wall plug end , plugged into the wall charger and a mini usb or proprietary connector at the tablet end. The USB connector can also be plugged into a USB port on a computer or other device. Charging rate will depend on how much current the device can deliver to the USB port, they are not all the same.

Asus Memo Pad HD 7 won't turn on or charge.

1. how old is your tablet 2. have you tried another charger such as a phone charger. My blackberry charger works fine for my tablet. Also with your tablet you should have had a usb cable that connected from mini usb to the asus plug in transformer.

I have an Asus Memo Pad HD 7 which I purchased 3 months ago. It worked wonderfully until one evening while using the pad plugged into the wall, it stopped showing the charge icon in the upper left hand...

the more programs you install and run in the back ground the more the battery is drained. It comes to a point where there are so many programs running the gadget cannot run & charge at the same time. It might charge better if you uninstall a lot of programs or do a factory reset but that is drastic

Hi, it seems that battery is totally discharged, that could be the reason of dead table. It should be good if you could check the connectors where the internal charger cable is connected, maybe one or both are damaged too.

7" touch andoid tablet won't charge

It may be the charger has a loose wire. In that case a new charger would fix the problem. Mine has a problem with the charging port itself. I am fortunatly that my tablet is under warrenty they are going to replace the tablet for me.
