I would do a hard reboot. To do this you should hold down the vol up, vol down, and power buttons. This should bring you into recovery mode. Others seem to be having similar issues. Warranty?
Sorry to hear/read this.
First, try get a new charger and plug your Google nexus 7. Suspect a dead battery with no charge left on it.
Otherwise, confirm your charger isn't just lighting up whereas it isn't delivering any charge current to your device.
Next to try if your ac charger is confirmed good is to attempt replacing the battery; at the store, have them insert a compatible/similar battery and then try power on your device.
NOTE:
New batteries at the point of purchase have some charge on them; sufficient to power on your device.
Device not power on, DON'T PURCHASE NEW BATTERY. Obviously, you don't have a power/battery problem.
Device power on, then you either have a battery that has failed or that your device's charging port needs to be serviced or repaired.
Please post update/feedback asap. Thanks
Hi If you're Nexus 7 is a bit sluggish on first start up::: hold down the power button for 6 to 7 seconds it should reboot :: I have tried this with 2 they did operate normal after reboot....Cheers
Made a video on how I changed the LCD and Touch Screen Assembly on a 1st Generation 2012 ASUS Nexus 7. I also show why it's almost impossible to replace only the Touch Screen and had to replace the LCD and Touch Screen Assembly.
go to service centre
hardware is misplace
if you are good in hardware
open the back panel and you;ll see set of parallel wire stuck in jack
remove it and put it back on same slot
be sure your tab is switched off
Yes it does. You can get them from the Google Play store on your N7. MS Works though is not available. There are also several other apps which can handle MS Office files.
.
Contact ASUS for a listing of authorised repairers for the Asus Nexus 7 or it may be listed in the user manual or in a separate document included in the original box.
If you have one of the cheaper basic models it will most likely not be worth repairing as it will cost around the same to replace it and possibly less depending on which model you buy and the amount of damage. It is difficult for repairers of these items to quote on repair costs because they often don't know what the internal problems are until they run tests and dismantle it. Also if the damage is not repairable you will incur a service charge in any event.
If it is one of the less expensive models I would not bother with a repair but buy a new one and wear the loss.
I assume you are in the downloads app if so just touch and hold for short while it should then select the file and the delete button should (trash can) appear at the top of the screen.
