Intova ic12 green error message on viewfinder shutter not closing any help

My intova ic 12 has a green error message it still functions but the shutters now not closing

Hello,
Please save any images to your desktop that you want to keep. Access format function in camera's setup menu and format both SD card and internal camera memory to clear all data. After formatting, perform a sys reset that is also found in the setup menu. If your camera still cannot save images to the SD card after performing format and sys reset, then the card reader/writer is probably broken. Please contact us directly at 808-837-0074 if you have a sales receipt showing date of purchase 1 year or less which would qualify for warranty exchange under our 1 year warranty coverage.

I cant get any response from my Intova IC12. This worked when I used it last year? When I try and charge the battery - nothing. No power. What should I do?

Hello mayairwin,
If you didn't use the camera/charge the battery for a year, then the battery may be dead. Li-ion batteries cannot be left to fully discharge. You probably just need to format the card in the camera to get it to work. This will erase the card so download any pics first using a card reader if necessary.

Problem with the lense of intova IC 600

Hi Abir,
I had the same problem with my camera, the shutter was stuck halfway and wouldn't open or close after that and the controls were also frozen. Turns out that one of the small gears that moves the shutter and zoom was broken. Take the camera to any good digital camera repair shop and they can fix it. Costs about 20$ though. Hope this solves your problem.
