The continous beep usually means a memory failure (RAM) or video memory if a plugin card is used.

Check to be sure the unit sees all of the memory, a weak power source( without AC adapter) could cause a partial failure of one memory card.

Another fault would be that the battery is very low on charge and won't accept any charge.

BAD Battery.

hope it helps

SOURCE: no boot, got continuous beeps at first, reset my 'savage2000' VGA card

The solution may be to locate the JBAT1 terminal and move jumper from pins 1-2 to pins 2-3 for a few seconds and back again. Turn on pc and then hopefully you can access the bios to set the time and date and save settings then re start.

SOURCE: gigabyte k8m800-8237 won't boot with 2nd gig ram installed.

Could have been dusty. Find a copy of Memtest and run it to check things out. Errors could mean a bad stick or bad slot.

SOURCE: Problem with the Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L

Trying to help you, please clarify me if the beeps are short or long ones, or some (how many) shor followed by some (how many) long ones. Don't worry, leaving the computer at "beeping mode" won't hurt it. Sorry for the details but these kind of codes identify if it's a motherboard, or CPU, or memory error.

Waiting clarification, don't hesitate to post.

Thanks and regards

Put just the ram back into the motherboard, the pc will not boot without processor, ram and graphics pluged into the board, check this, if it will still not boot and you still get 3 beeps its a memory(ram) problem, and you will need to replace the memory stick.
