I'm unable to locate the owner's manual for a Sharp 32L-S400B TV. I need to reprogram the channels for my current residence. How do I accomplish this adjustment?

Yuor TV has an issue particularly in the power supply section with regards to the loose components. This issue can be best addressed by having your units' circuitry be resoldered before it could damage some parts.

Sounds like the Startup Relay is dropping out, you will need to replace it.

What I can think of is either the main filter capacitor is dried up, I had a set that would stay powered on til it warmed up then shut off and the main filter cap was the problem. Or the tv could have a thermally induced shut down, or the circuit protection kicks in due to excessive voltage. A component is defective and excess voltage is happening and the tv shuts down to prevent excessive X-ray emissions or damage to other components. You should open up the tv, be very careful and if you don't feel comfortable, have someone with more experiance or a shop look at it. Look for any blown or burnt components. Also listen for any weird or funny noises inside the set.

I have the same problem. Do not have any idea on how to fix it without probable major expense. I have to connect cable box to RCA inputs which require the dvd player to connect with the front inputs...very inconvenient! Hope someone has an answer to this problem.

Thanks Gopakumar Gopalan for you suggestion. However, I have model 32L-S400B, not 32N-S400. I also don't have the remote. But I still followed the directions in the manual, just in case, to access the menu w/out a remote. But nothing happened when I held down both the up & down channel buttons on the TV set. I also searched the Retrevo site, but was unable to locate the appropriate owner's manual. Any further suggestions?
