Someone somewhere has programed a code into the Parental Programing. I would like to begin using this feature but I am unable to do so. Can you assist me in reprograming the Parental programing number so that I can start using it. I need to be able to put in a NEW number. Thank you

SHARP 32L-S400B SHEARED OFF CABLE CONNECTOR FROM INSIDE TV TO CABLE .CAN IT BE REPAIRED INEXPENSIVELY?

I have the same problem. Do not have any idea on how to fix it without probable major expense. I have to connect cable box to RCA inputs which require the dvd player to connect with the front inputs...very inconvenient! Hope someone has an answer to this problem.

My sharp 32L-s400b will shut off after it warms up and will not come back on until unplugged for a short while to cool down

What I can think of is either the main filter capacitor is dried up, I had a set that would stay powered on til it warmed up then shut off and the main filter cap was the problem. Or the tv could have a thermally induced shut down, or the circuit protection kicks in due to excessive voltage. A component is defective and excess voltage is happening and the tv shuts down to prevent excessive X-ray emissions or damage to other components. You should open up the tv, be very careful and if you don't feel comfortable, have someone with more experiance or a shop look at it. Look for any blown or burnt components. Also listen for any weird or funny noises inside the set.

Parental Control V chip has been activated.

on my Sharp 36R-s400. Go to menu , then parental control. When dispaly asks for secret number,
press and hold volume up and channel down simultaneously until message is cleared.
This turns off parental control and clears the password.

TV Turns Off

Good day.
Yuor TV has an issue particularly in the power supply section with regards to the loose components. This issue can be best addressed by having your units' circuitry be resoldered before it could damage some parts.

Response is higly appreciated.
