How can I use HDMI for my computer

Connect one end of the HDMI cable into an available HDMI port on your TV. Take a note of the HDMI inputs numbers it's being connected to. Plug the other end of the cable into your computers HDMI out port, or into the appropriate adapter for your computer. If you are using an adapter, connect that adapter to your computer

Kodak M883 will not accept charge when plugged to computer and will not go on either when plugged to computer.

Not all computer USB ports put out enough current to charge batteries.

If you're connected through a hub, try bypassing the hub and connecting directly to the computer. If you have another USB port available, try that. If you have a USB charger that plugs into a power outlet, try that.

Keeping getting commication not available

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer (if USB connected). Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection or when the WiFi light on the printer turns solid green (if WiFi connected.).

If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the USB cable connecting the printer from your computer.
  2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
  3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
  4. Reboot computer.
  5. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - black box where the power cord is plugged into on the back of the printer, and re-plug after 30 seconds.
  6. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to the computer.
  7. Wait until your computer fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, try to print a document to verify that the problem is fixed.

I have just bought Belkin Powerline AV starter kit. I have a Belkin N1 Wireless Modem Router connected through a Carrier PoE adapter. I have tried to connect my Sony TV and PS3 through the powerline units...

Try reset the device and start a new configuration. It seems that your networwork have issues between the router and the powerlines. All need to be in the same network as per router configuration.Connect one adapter to your router and plug it into an available electrical outlet. Plug the second adpter into an available wall outlet and connect the other end to any device with an available Ethernet port such as a gaming console, set-top box, or computer.

pd: OS to use the adapters; Windows 2000, XP or Vista.

Can i use a compaq keyboard on another brand of computer

Keyboard brand is not important. The keyboard connector is your only concern. The keyboard has either the round PS/2 connector or the flat USB connector. Therefore, the computer must have a matching port for the keyboard to work.

IMPORTANT: A PS/2 keyboard must be connected BEFORE the computer is turned on. A USB KB can be connected at any time but it may take a few seconds for the computer detects it.

Please vote for my solution if it helps.

My computer does not have wireless networks available! There is a connection for plug in internet but no wirless setup at all. How can i make my computer have wireless available again?

Make sure that Wireless Lan or Wireless Router are installed and connected properly. This procedure are delicate if you don't exactly use this device properly. Resetting is not necessary just find out where this two devices are functioning normally.
Good luck!

UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD PICTURES FROM CAMERA TO pc

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Thinkpad T21 won't start on battery alone. Works OK with adapter

The power comes into the plug on the back of the computer. This connects it to metal traces inside the mainboard of the computer. These will be connected to voltage regulators which often output 5 volts, 12 volts, 3.3 volts, and the CPU voltage; they sometimes look like the image at right. These will be connected to cylindrical capacitors distributed throughout the mainboard. Capacitors act like tiny, fast batteries, supplying extra power where needed to maintain a steady voltage during high demand.

Anywhere in your laptop, physical or electrical damage can cause a short circuit. A short circuit will consume all available power, causing your laptop to not turn on. If your power adapter LED comes on when you plug it into the wall, but then goes off when you plug in the laptop, you probably have a short circuit.
