Canon Powershot A75 problems ________________________________________ I have a Canon powershot A75 Digital camera its about a 11 months old and has a few problems now. 1. zoom doesn't work any more 2. any buttons like "menu" "func" "up/down/left/right" don't work anymore 3. unable to view pictures I've taken except the last one 4.Orange AF light on the front of the camera keeps blinking. I am able to still take pictures and download them to my computer but thats all. Has anyone else had this same problem?

Having read on a few sites about loose ribbon wires causing problems and having this same problem. I decide to take the camera apart. Taking all the screws out and fidling with the "wires" connecting the zoom control and the photo type selector and the main circ board. I also cleaned the connector from the picture type selector. Then put it all back together the camera works fine again. NOTES... lots of small screws with varying lengths make sure you know where they come from. Took about 1 hour to do.Put back in the order you take apart or the back will not go back on.. Good luck have just saved myself a fortune

Canon PowerShot A75 is shooting "blanks"

Its matter of bad CCD Imager in camera so you don't see any live image on lcd to take snap.
CCD Imager needs to be replaced in Canon A75 camera.
