Toshiba satellite A215-S4807/changed bios pw and cant remember it

check whwther you have set password while booting if so enter bios pw

Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Look for Manuals and search them for System Recovery, Factory Restore or Factory Settings.

its a power on password set in the bios look online for a free bios password remover

If your computer didn't make it to your Windows login.Sounds like it is wanting your BIOS password try "0000"

YOu can reset bios password with 2 method.
(1) open back cover of laptop then find motherbord .Pull cmos cell from motherbord for 15 minutes then again put it in it's position .then it not ask for password.
(2)You can clear password with jumper settings find jumper on motherbord named clear cmos it has 3 pin .1-2-3
Put jumper in 2-3 position then again put it in 1-2 position then check .

your user profile may be corrupt. after turning on your laptop press F8. choose "last known good configuration" and see if that resolves the problem. if not, next choose "safemode". from safemode click "yes" to continue and restart the computer from the start menu. if this doesn't work, go back into safemode. click "no", and restore the computer to a early date when it was working.

  Maybe if a driver is not there it means that it is already in the BIOS sofware.In the BIOS setup screen make sure that you have the LAN turned on.

Ouch, unless you know that password its not looking too good for you. take it into a computer technitian to look at it and they should be able to fix it and get it into working order again
