Hey, I recently upgraded my laptop (It needed to be wiped) to Windows 64bit ultimate edition and I am now missing my other devices. They all have yellow exclamation marks by them and they are: Ethernet Controller Network Controller PCI Device PCI Simple Communications Controller
I can't enable my touch-pad lock its important for me
You can download the device drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the Windowsdrivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download thedrivers: -

It sounds like you registry has a bad configuration for your drive. Here's how to test it: This fix has helped me many times, but make sure of the correct registry entry before deleting anything, and do an export before starting (file/export) save it somewhere on your hard drive. If it works for you then you can remove the backup file.
Can you see the drive
listed in BIOS? If you change the boot order to 'CD first' with a
bootable CD inserted, does it boot to the CD or to Windows?
If
it's listed in BIOS but can't be seen in Windows Explorer, go to
Start > Run > regedit. Remove the Upperfilters and
Lowerfilters values from this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \
SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Class \
{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Then reboot.
Important:
Make a backup (export) before making any changes to the registry.
