HI,
If you make a close verification on the back side of kenwood DNX9980HD 20 PIN HARNESS then you can see a Light Blue wire with Yellow stip ( BLUE/YELLOW) on it with a identification mark as "Remote cont". You have connect this wire to the Brown wire with white strip (BROWN/WHITE) from the 20 PIN HARNESS of AXXESS ASWC . There wil be a brown wire also from this 20 PIN HARNESS of AXXESS ASWC, leave it free insulated. It will not use with kenwood radios. You have to check for LIGHT BLUE with WHITE strip. There is also two other blue wires of which one with white strip. You hve to choose the light blue wire.
ok
any regular kenwood 14 pin harness will work use the yellow for your battery wire the black is still ground and the blue&white striped remote wire is your switched power just hooked one up today sounds Amazing!!! for it's age!
You will need to run independent power and ground wires for the amp, then run your RCA leads from your headunit to your amp, the trigger wire to turn your amp on and off with the headunit is the pink and black wire in the kenwood wiring harness...
First, try the dealer where the Kenwood was purchased. They will normally replace missing items under warranty. Next would be Kenwood, tell them the wiring harness was missing and request that they send you a new one. If neither of those work, then you probably will have to purchase it. Here is the website for Kenwood parts.
Okay there are 2 possible solutions depending on your problem
Number 1 If its the lead that plugs into the back of the headunit then this is the page you need Click Here All you have to do is choose the one you need! just look at how many pins there are pretty simple to work out
Number 2 If its the lead that plugs in from your car loom to the headunit loom then you need to look here and pick out your car
Go to your local walmart or bestbuy and purchase a wiring harness for your car... if you need help finding the correct one. ask for help... they are only about 7 bucks... and when it comes to wiring harnesses vs straight wiring... definitely go with the wiring harness to avoid shorts which can cause fires.... and electrical issues with your vehicle.. Please Rate Answer... and i hope that this is helpful to your problem
