Amana Electric Oven Issue

I have an amana electric oven (only 4 years old). For some reason when i set it to bake, the oven never reached the desired temperature. Yet I can put it on clean and the heat generated off the oven seemed to be normal when I set it to clean.

Do you have ANY idea of what this could possibly be? I'm not sure if the model I selected is the correct one.

Thanks

The model number for the oven is aer5715qaq

My problem turned out to be a faulty baking element. We found one for 37.00 and my husband put it in. Now it works just fine. The old element had a section in it that looked like it had been cut. So we are happy now.

I will say that is the control board that is not working properly. Have you try to unplugged for phew minutes?, this will reset the current settings. If not, I will star replacing the control board. Good Luck!.

Amana oven doesn't heat

IS it gas or electric? If it's gas, you may need to have a technician regulate the air and gas. If it's electric your t-stat may need to be replaced. Hope this helps! :>)!

Amana EvenAir Convection Plus Self Cleaning Oven will not unlock.

My oven was locked and would not open. No lock light was on but the oven was clearly locked. F9 error when I hit certain buttons.

Try this. I unplugged the oven for about 5 minutes. Plugged back in. A LOCK light came on. Held down "Oven Cancel" for a few seconds. Door opened and lock light went off. No more F9 error when I hit those buttons.
