I was watching my tv today and the screen went out. I still have audio, but no screen, just black. any ideas? the tv was bought Aug 2006

Power no video, is an indication of a bad panel. It usually requires changing the power board, and the panel. this supplies all boards to receive the proper voltage to correspond with each other to make the TV work again including the LCD panel. also the revision code and firmware needs to be current, to prevent future programming failures.

I thought i had no audio but it is there. No picture. occasionally i can turn it on and it is there

I have the same problem....no picture...i cannot use the Dell TV on screen menu to change the input settings either. The blue power button is on, but nothing on the screen...just black.
