My samsung GT-E2220 is not charging and wont switch on or off what can the problem be

Hi,
It could be due to many reason, such as,
1. Battery completely drained.
2. Charging port is not working.
3. Mobile Operating System Problem.
4. Charger not providing the right voltage to charge the phone. and many more....

Remove the batter and clean the charging plates with some cloth, now put it in and connect the charge and leave it for 30 minutes if you still can switch it on, replace the battery and check if the problem is hardware of operating system related.

My cell is not getting charged.. battery chrging sign doesnt ***..2 hours b4 when i plugged in ti charge it was alright.

Sometimes if its not completely drained when u charge it u risk the chance of ruining your battery...but you can try leaving your battery out for a while and then put it back in...if that doesnt work you might need new battery or perhaps a new cord.

This has to be a problem with the battery not holding a charge. If your phone is under warranty it could be replaced.

Its better you replace the battery with a new one,this unit is prone to battery easily damaged.

nw there is a problm!! the updates availabl from net mst nevr b trustd..moreovr the update releasd by samsung at&t is for Samsung SGH-i780 and not foe omnia pro.. Update for omnia is free and available in servic centrs..
Rite nw..its best tht u go to ur nearest servic centr and showthem the problem.

When charger is plug in, battery icon changes to ac icon. There is no indication when battery is fully charged. How do i know when should i switch off the charger?

on the top the red light is glow which means battery is charging when full charge it becomes green

Hello there!
the battery of your phone is not functioning well. meaning, you have to replace a new battery for your phone.
tip:
don't use the phone while charging. let it be fully charge. and not to overcharge it too. because using the phone while charging will reduce the life span of the battery.

Select Security, and then select Master Clear.
The phone will now reset back to Factory Settings.
