First remove the dispenser drawer by pulling it out and pressing down on the red tab towards the rear and center. Next remove the 3 Torx 20 screws behind the dispenser drawer. Then you have 3 10 mm bolts to remove on the door panel where the door glass closes. After that you need to open the bottom left panel where the filter is and remove the plastic nozzle from the panel, then pull the door open. This gives you access to the door seal, it has a retainer ring with a 8mm bolt this will have to be loosened and pried open then the seal can be pulled off. There is a tab on the seal that has to be in the 12 0 clock position. Press the new seal on until you hear a pop and secure it with the band. Fit the lips of the new seal around the inner panel and close the door.

I have a W844 and the exact same fault occured. I traced it to badly worn brushes on the motor.

There will be a small qty of water left after the wash. However if the compartment is full then the syphon tube is probably blocked.
Lift the flap of conditioner compartment, you will see a round 'post' in the middle to the rear of it. Pull this gently off. Give it a thorough clean and also take whole soap draw to sink and rinse. Where you removed the 'post' flush through with hot water. Replace the post (will click into place).
You should now be good to go.

hello at the back of the washer you should see panel with 4 or 5 screws.once this is off you should see the belt attach the motor at the bottom get a felt tip pen mark the nuts where the motor is bolted to loose them off the belt should drop off put new belt and tighten the nuts back up do quick test on the washer if ok your done

Providing the motor is okay then yes could be the belt...if so you will find that the drum turns by hand no problem with ease........In which case order new belt....
