What makes you think you have defective capacitors?

No, the USB port is only for firmware updates when the 22LG30-AU is in service mode. You would need some sort of computer connected to the TV to show a PowerPoint file on that screen. (Even one of the HDMI dongle computers would work, if you can use a USB hub to add USB ports. You will need to have either some version of a PowerPoint Viewer, Microsoft Office or Open Office available on that computer.)

(I have not seen a TV with a USB port that could handle PPT files natively. If the USB port isn't labeled Service only, many can show jpeg pictures or mp3 audio files. Fewer can handle movies, mp4, files. Often these are TVs with Smart (internet) functions.)

the picture board has gone faulty
thee are two system boards in the set --one for sound and one for picture
if you have the number from the board you want to replace try e-bay --circuit boards for your tv and see what comes up

Presuming that the IR codes for the 0~9 numbers are captured correctly, then problems like this are usually down to either insufficient time between key presses, which can be solved by adding a small macro delay to each key; or the device being controlled is receiving multiple IR streams either directly from the hand unit and the IR emitters, or there's a blaster in the cabinet that's bouncing IR in multiple paths.

have you had the freeview board off and used tv with it not on. sometimes the built in free view board can fail and use the processor speed up. so no menu etc also will affect the inputs..

Replace the main board and it should correct your issues.

A common issue with this model is the control key board (the key input board that has the buttons on the cabinet of the TV).

This board can cause a lot of issue ,from changing channels by itself,to intermittent shut off, also sources cannot be switched or they switch by themselves.

The less common issues would be the remote eye or the main board.

This is a common issue with HDMI. Try unplugging the TV for 2 monutes and also reset the cable box as well by inplugging.

Universal Remote should do it.
