I just purchased an acer laptop and i've had this game and logitech attack3 for a very long time. never any problem before but now...once game is loaded, joystick usually configures itself. now once all is ready to go, as well as the "test/conf." which do allow me to go into control panel(game controllers) and as i stated...all looks fine. but once game begins, nothing about the joystick responds and when i go back into the "test/config" the computer keeps renaming itself w/ jumbles of #'s...and id change is rapid and can't get anything regarding the "stick" to do anything...except in "test/config" screen....PLEASE HELP...thank you, jim stokes

its not problem with your gamepad. Its the problem with game both games. It has a bug problem. It cant install gamepad. dont try it again & again as it may damage the game pad internal configuration. pls rate for me .

Some joysticks are not compatible with certan games for expmple when i am using flight simulator and change to my combat flight simulator i have to change joysticks
the only other thing i would think is try deleting the currently installed driver for the joystick and then download a driver for a joystick that is surported, it wont work as well but at least it might accully work

Bad news. You cannot use gamepad in this game. I have spent 5 hours researching on this topic. I have even made a gamepad profile for all logitech gamepads. Visit this link and you will get all the info. You can download the profile I have made, its with instructions

Your gamepad can work in almost any game. All you need is a profiler software, which you already have, and you need to assign commands to gamepad's buttons so you can play a game with it. Some games support gamepads by default; in that case you dont have to do anything. But in many cases you have to set it up yourself.
