Nokia 6280 please help for some reason i am unable to sent texts any more i have credit and can recieve them but i think i messed up on the settings somewhere thanks

This question is so abrupt for an answer. One of the reason might be that you have not requested for the credit. Another reason might be that your friends are not sending or are not willing to send you the credit. But if in the case that you are not receiving text messages which in turn debarred you from receiving credit sent, then check it with your service provider in order to correct your text receiving center number.

Please go into inbox and delete all previous text messages. Then sent items and delete all text messages. Also in outbox, drafts. Your settings for your text messages may only be set to recieve a certain amount of texts.

You can change this by going into messages then message settings

and then other. increase the number of saved messages to 999.

If your phone is only set to save 100, you will get memory full messages once that amount has been reached.

Hi,

If you want to send message with a picture attached, it means you are sending MMS..To send or recieve MMS you should should have a MMS SETTINGS, think you dont hace MMS setting in your phone.

My advice is ask the operator to send the MMS settings, they may send it through air and save it to your mobile, restart your mobile and you should able to MMS after then...

This might be due to several reasons. Please do the followong and let me know the results. Select MENU >> OPTIONS >> MEMORY DETAILS >> PHONE MEMORY. Then let me know what is the free memory and used memory as well as the Massages memory.
You might have a virus or just simply too many text messages saved on the phone

Steps to follow when the phone memory is full:

1. If the message memory is full you’ll be shown Memory full. Unable to receive messages is
2. To delete old messages, Select OK and Press Yes and the folder.
3. Navigate to the desired message and Select Delete.
4. Choose Mark, to delete more messages. Mark all the messages you want to delete, Choose Options and Press Delete marked.

you need to format your phone so that you can receive messages again...input this code *#7370# and then click yes...enter your security code...after that your phone will reboot...it will automatically on..so please wait until the phone open..after that enjoy texting again..hope this will help you

chk for the message settings

go to massage setting no and change it from u r service provider

go n settings then then master reset, the same problem still persists after turning your'e phone off :s
