Purple is for subs, gray is front and black is rear low level outputs for amplifiers.

First you will need to get a wire harness for your specific make, model & year of car. This will interface the car wiring plug to your new clarion headunit.

Next you will connect the wires from your purchased wire harness to the wires of your Clarion Headunit. Using **** connectors with a wire crimper is the best way to do so.

Here is a wire color coding guide for the wires on your Clarion headunit:

FRONT Right SPKR: +Gray -Gray/Blk,
FRONT Left SPKR: +White -White/Blk,
REAR Right SPKR: +Purple -Purple/Blk,
REAR Left SPKR: +Green -Green/Blk

Brown Wire = Phone Mute Lead (If applicable)
Yellow Wire = 12V battery lead in (Connect directly to battery)
Red Wire = 12V Ignition wire (Connect to Acc switch)
Blue/White Wire = Amp turn on lead
Black Wire = Chassis Ground
Orange/White Wire = Illumination Lead (Connect to dimmer switch)
Blue Wire = Auto Antenna Lead (lowers power antenna Do not use for Amp Turn on! Use the Blue/White Wire for Amp,EQ, Ect.. turn on wire only

RCA Connectors if applicable:

Black RCA Harness:
White RCA = Rear Audio Left Sub Output 1
Red RCA = Rear Audio Right Sub Output 2

do u have a red as well or just two yellows if so it trial and error connect one to the constant and one to switched then program your radio channels then turn the ignition off then turn it back on if the radio stations stay then you have the right wire if they dont then switch the two yellow ones around

Blue white is remote to amp.... Grey and black are your RCA out to amp...

, the message you are getting is "amp guard". This is the mesage it will display when a short in a speaker wire or speaker with low impedence is hooked to the internal amp and sends it into protect mode, shutting down the amplifier section while the rest of the unit continues to work.

check all of your speakers

Check the fuses in the fuse block under the hood. Your clock fuse and radio constant power fuse are combined in this vehicle.
