Signal board Hey wich one is the signal board? Also PTS quoted me $249 to repair the format board, I am pretty sure that that one board was my problem, I checked over the rest of the boards and other than a few bloated Caps They looked fine, I am in the process of replacing those caps and just waiting on the format board to return from repair.....thanks James

do you mean the one that the cable card inserts into? if so I looked over it really well and changed out the 4 - 16v 1000uF capacitors for added insurance, I am gonna go ahead and put the tv back together without sending it out because they told me that they did some work on the format card and that tells me that that is where the problem lies, I also changed out the four same caps on the power supply card(two of them were bloated out and were about to go) thanks James

The boards are no longer available from Mitsubishi, which board (signal, deflection, power) are you looking for?

A national company called PTS ELECTRONICS does repair some boards.

Screen went completely green

Hi

Problem could be in the SSB/signal board causing no picture. Encompass Parts 1-800-638-3328 PTS this company rebuilts boards 1-800-844-7871. If you know how to solder ,then resolder the Signal Board its the one that has Cable connector on it.Sometimes poor solder connections will cause this problem.

Thanks for using Fixya.

L have a 32" vizio

I have had this problem, the main board has usually been the culprit. If you open the back, Check the fuses on the main board, you may find a blown fuse. Get the part number of the board, I suggest Moduslink PTS, they may have what you need, they also repair the boards if you cannot. Good luck

Whats with my tv?

Good Day;

Replace all caps that are swollen, but resolve your checker pattern:

1. Tile or block pattern replace D8F00 and D8F01 part # 264P828010, also replace C8F26 and C8F29 part # 141P148000 (1 uFD, 25 V) on the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002).

The diodes have a stripe (line) that is the cathode, at one end of the device, the board will reflect that line. Good Luck, big IRISH. PS ; De solder as best as you can, glue is under part, heat one end, while prying up, heat other end. It will come off with moderate to mid high heat.

Dvd plays fine sound/picture...No sound or picture with cable input

John,
To answer your question no, there are no fuses associated with the tuner input - through the "F" connector jack.
You have there a V26 chassis which has, among other things, standard digital and analog signal inputs. If one works but not the other - and you've verified it's not the cable then the only alternative is the signal board, Mitsubishi p/n# 930b923002...
But don't rush out and buy this puppy, it's a fairly expensive board and there are alternatives to replacing it new or used - PTS Electronics can rebuild this board for half the cost of a new one and most techs use PTS for that reason.
My best advice is to have a qualified shop estimate the repair and if they decide that the signal board needs to be replaced and quotes you a price ask them then about having it rebuilt.
Also take the unit to them to save the pickup/delivery charges and ask for your estimate in writing...
Hope this helps!
Bill
