The site, which has much more information on the subject that you may want to read, said: "There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Try a locksmith before the dealership, they are usually 50% the cost."

Unfortunately, there is no set pattern for how each of the keyless remotes get programmed. In fact, some keyless remotes need to be programmed by a Dealer, or a locksmith. If the keyless remote was purchased from the dealer it should have either come with instructions, or the programming should have been included as part of the cost that you paid. If the dealer refuses to program the unit for you, simply return the unit and obtain one from another source (e.g., eBay, etc.). The Seller will be able to tell you whether or not you will need to have the remote programmed by a Dealer or a locksmith. Dealer is correct that you have too replace the bcm, so i would tell you to call junk yard and get one. Cheap $ 50.00 put it in by yourself. Right hand side of the glove compartment. behind the fuse box with couple connectors on it, or have some person with knowledge to do it.

Most eBay sellers that deal with key fobs will provide programming instructions...ask the seller before you buy from them.

THE DEALER SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL YOU BY THE VIN NUMBER IF THE CAE CAME WITH A FACTORY KEYLESS ENTERY THAN YOU CAN BUY THE REMOTE PAD AND PROGRAM IT
