The sony Sony cybershot camera connect direct to P. You don`t need drivers. Look in control panel if they are a Yellow mark near the device and remove.
If you can`t see the camera in control panel (Device manager) try connect to other USB ports or replace cable.

I cant find the DCIM folder in my polaroid camera

The camera will create that folder on a memory card when you use it. Do you mean you can't find that file on the card or when you plug in the camera with no card in it?
If it isn't on the card, in the menu options of the camera you can format the card and the internal camera memory, save your pictures first of course.
Formatting the internal memory of the camera and taking a picture should restore the DCIM folder.
And make sure the SD card is unlocked, there is a little slide switch on the side of it.

FORMATTING WILL ERASE EVERYTHING SAVE YOUR PICS FIRST!

If you cannot find the DCIM folder you may still have pics stuck on the card and/or camera, look into file recovery before you format anything.

I also do file recovery by the way.

My dsc-w80 keeps saving all of my pics to the internal memory

Set camera on playback mode, you will see any saved picture in internal memory. Insert memory card and lcd screen will show you either blue screen if memory card has no picture files or will show you picture in memory card. That means memory card is intact with camera and ready to store fresh picture.
Set camera to camera mode and take few fresh pictures and check them in playback mode.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

What usb cable will download pics to my pc from a Sony

Consider NOT using a USB cable.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

How do i transfer the pics on the cam to the storage card? Sony Cybershot DSC-S780 I do not have the manual for instructions

One way is to plug it in to a pc or laptop without the memory card the save the pictures on the pc. After put the memory card in the camera and move the pictures in the camera again so it goes in the memory card. All pictures you take with the memory card automatically go in the memory card.

Sony cyber shot 7.2 Carl Zeiss transfer pics on memory card

No.
Take the memory stick out of the camera then connect to the computer. You can then transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer.
Alternatively, use the camera's copy command to copy the pictures from the internal memory to the memory stick.

Format error c:13:01

i don't think you can transfer photos from mem stick to internal mem, but may i suggest purchasing a multi port card reader? it is a small device, compatible with most all mem cards- deff for Sony Cyber-shot- you simply insert your mem stick and plug into the USB port on your computer, this will also save unnecessary wear on your camera, They are fairly cheap, at around $15, no software is needed, your computer will recognize it as a mem stick, just as it does the camera
