I HAVE A ANDROID HUAWEI TOUCH CELL PHONE, I HAD A 1G MICRO SD CARD INSERTED AND IT WAS ALWAYS WORKING FINE UNTIL TODAY, WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO VIEW IT CONTENTS FROM MY PC. I REMOVED IT FROM THE CELL PHONE AND INSERTED INTO A MICRO SD CARD READER AND PLACED IT INTO MY DELL PC. THE COMPUTER COULDN'T OPEN THE FILE. AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS, I REMOVED IT FROM THE CARD READER, TO PLACE BACK INTO MY CELL PHONE. i NOTICED THAT ALL MY PITURES AND DOCUMENTS WERE NO LONGER THERE AND, I RECEIVE AN ERROR MESSAGE THAT THE SD card blank or has unsupported filesystem. WHEN I CLICKED ON THAT ERROR MESSAGE, IT ASKS ME IF I WANT TO FORMAT OR CANCEL. WHat does that means? I do not want to format my card and lose all my pictures. What can i do? i TRIED CARD CARD RECOVERS AND NOTHING WAS FOUND. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT ATTEMPTED TO USE A CARD READER. HOW COULD MY CARD BE CORRUPTED ALL OF A SUDDEN? pLEASE HELP. THANKS. 9/2/11 12:33AM CST Tanyaj.

You can try some mobile phone data recovery software. You can see
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOSOGjaVd80
It tells the steps how to perform data recovery.

If above does not work, you may have to format the memory card (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the memory card and recover your files.

You may try this phone recovery software which helped me before. You can download trial for free
http://www.asoftech.com/adr/

Please be noted that your phone memory should show as a drive letter in your explorer, if not, you need to take out your memory card and connect using a card reader, or plug-in to card reader slot if there's any on your computer.

I recently read an article on Android phone data recovery, from which I learn that deleted files are actually recoverable only if the deleted data are not overwritten, i.e. do not save data to the place where your deleted data once stayed. You might find a better understanding of how to recover deleted files from android in this article that I readhttp://www.card-data-recovery.com/android-data-recovery.html

First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your cell phone (or SD card) or taking new pictures.

Then find some photo recovery software from the following websites, which are able to recover deleted or formatted photos and movies from cell phone, digital camera, memory card and SD card etc.

Digital Photo Recovery for Windows

Digital Photo Recovery for Mac OS X

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Digital Photo Recovery Software.

Step 2: Connect your cell phone (or SD card, memory card etc) to your PC or Mac.

Step 3: Scan the source drive where your lost pictures located.

Step 4: Recover the lost pictures and save them to another drive instead of the source drive.

Best regards!

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A MANUAL FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO INSERT MY MICRO SD CARD INTO MY COMPUTER AND WHAT TO DO WHEN I INSERT THE MICRO SD CARD

You'll need an adapter to convert the Micro SD card into a normal size SD card, slot the Micro SD into the SD card adapter and then plug that into the computer.
Most computers then pop up a box to tell you that you've plugged something in, so you can then browse what is on the card.
Double clicking on the items on the card will then enable you to view the images/items.

Help! SD Card/Phone not working togther correctly

Hi pinakbet, the more detail the better I say. :) I had a problem similar to this with an SD card, the way I fixed it was to backup all of the data from the card onto my PC, then format the card totally wiping everything off it. Then putting it back into the phone so that it will reformat it so that the phone can read it. Then try again, if the problem persists, I would say the card itself is faulty, take it back if it is still under warranty, or if not, I'm afraid it looks like you may have to purchase a new one. Hope this helps in some way! Si :)
