I bought a 4 gig SanDisk Adapter micro SD, micro SDHC. my Acer Aspire will not recognize the card, i've tried the switch both ways multiple times. how can i get my PC to recognize the card?

My reader will not read mine either. I use a usb key card reader. It used to read the regular old SD cards but the new HC card format wont work. This is due to UDF differences. You can try to reformat the card but then your camera or device may not recognize it anymore. good luck

Dear Bill,
It seems that your SD card is corrupted now, you cannot do anything to recover that. try formating it see if it works or not if no then all you need is to replace it with a new SD Card. or you can try out your local photo shops if they have any solutions.
SD cards are just like old Floppy disks, no one knows when they get corrupted.

I downloaded some songs to my micro sd card but i cant find them.

Hi,

Do you know what format the songs are in? (ie. .mp3, .wma, .wav)??

This may be the issue. Check your phone's documentation to clarify which formats it can play.

Also, connect the memory card to a PC, do you still see the songs? If you do then its an issue with the phone, if not, try copying them to the memory card again.

The Micro adapter has no memory in it. It is just an adapter to use so you can plug your Micro SD memory card into a larger (SD) slot. The SD Micro memory card needs to be inserted into the adapter.

Most PCs are like that. I don't know what it is but the computer won't do it for mine neither. To put music and such on you sd card for your phone you must format the card while it's in your phone. Goto setting, Memory, Card memory, then click on opions. From there it will say "Format Card". Do it and the lock code is the last four digits or your phone number. After that's done to load music and such you put the sd chip onto you computer and transfer music to the folder on the sd card called "My_music", pix to "My_pix", and so on....

I need help. i insert my lexar 1gb micro sd memory card into my phone and my phone doesnt show that there is a memory card inserted and i have no idea how to work it on my phone. my phone is a samsung blast.

Hi, You will see on the Micro SD Card that looks the same as the SD Card, there is a Little Card that pushes into the SD Card, this is the Micro SD Card, remove it from the Card, and insert it into your phone on the lefthand side of your phone, where it says Micro SD, you have to push the card in untill you hear a click sound, your phone will also say that memory card inserted. You can now copy songs or video or any other files to the card from your phone, or by using the Samsung PC suite Software, if you have received it with the phone, otherwise you can download it from Samsungs Website
