Re: My New Micro SD Memory Chip
Hi, You will see on the Micro SD Card that looks the same as the SD Card, there is a Little Card that pushes into the SD Card, this is the Micro SD Card, remove it from the Card, and insert it into your phone on the lefthand side of your phone, where it says Micro SD, you have to push the card in untill you hear a click sound, your phone will also say that memory card inserted. You can now copy songs or video or any other files to the card from your phone, or by using the Samsung PC suite Software, if you have received it with the phone, otherwise you can download it from Samsungs Website

Yes, it would be best to take the old RAM out.
I am assuming that this is 1 stick totalling 2GB. Optimally it would be good to have 2 x 1GB modules totaling 2GB, so they could work together. Otherwise, yes, just remove the the old ram and install the new module.
If you are running a 32bit operating system, 3GB is all the system can use anyway.
Hope this helps!
My reader will not read mine either. I use a usb key card reader. It used to read the regular old SD cards but the new HC card format wont work. This is due to UDF differences. You can try to reformat the card but then your camera or device may not recognize it anymore. good luck
Well you said you used 256+128 and thats lower than 1gb. So try sticking in one of the stick and run it, see how it is. Then try the other, if both are working fine by themself then try cleaning your board with a nonscrathing cloth (or q-tip).
Lastly, just double check if your motherboard runs that kingston type, the pc2100.
As for your memory goes, os 2k can run up to 4gb of ram.
basically its RAM compatibility issue check the ram specs is it ddr 2 with the specs that suits ur system or not
if u put 1 gb and 1gb it gives u issues then kindly check the DDR2 PC???? check is it 2100 4200 or 5300 what is ur orig ram rating try the same rating and then check pls also check the bus speed is it 533mhz or 667 or 800mhz
pls only use the compatible ram with ur laptop kingston are good with acer bcoz originally it comes with hynix chip and kingston chips nomally and sometimes samsung chips let me know about the detailed specs of all chips with all digits written on them
Hi, You have the answer in your question. I have checked the PC specification and you are right, it uses PC2700 memory. Therefore you need to install PC2700 memory. PC3200 memory will be the wrong speed and will not be supported.
