My truck has problem show light on said anti lock (ABS). My truck is 1996 Chevy Blazer S10.. I hope you give me book for show where it is fix detail place...

Won't start how ? You put the key in the ignition an turn the key to start ,what happens ? Does the starter engage an spin the engine but doesn't start or it does nothing ? When you turn the key on do the lights in the instrument cluster light - check engine , ABS , battery , SRS - air bags , ? If you can't supply more details your best bet mite be to take it to a quailfied repair shop.

sounds like the anti lock pump is gloing out

Did the spindle hang down and rip the wires into. Need to hook up a scanner to see which abs sensor it is.

I have a 1991 Chev with the same problem. Unfortunately, the parts are hard to get, if at all and the old style ABS only worked on the rear brakes. They disconnected my module, the light is off and the brakes work fine. Saved a ton of $$!

First of all you have to have a diagnostic check to find the problem.Then after the problem has been solved you can have the abs light reset

take it to auto zone or advance or pep boys have them scan it. They will do it for free. let me know what happens...gl...DC

The abs is a add on for the brakes that when the tires come into a skid or slid they wont lock up..Your brakes will still work great with the abs disabled but your brakes will lock up if you push on the brakes hard enough to stop.Mainly abs works in slippery conditions not letting the tires lock up and keep the car rolling instead of making it slide..But no effect of the brakes will happen..Just make sure your fluid is full and there are no leaks and if you want to get them check you can stop by your local Auto Zone and they will scan your car for free and tell you what sensor is bad..I hope this was helpful to you...Have a great night

have one person in the blazer pumping the brake pedal and then hold to the floor, crack the bleeder then tighten, release pedal, repeat till all air is out one side at a time, if this does not work then your ABS unit is bad witch if u follow your lines from your master cylinder u will find a black box with a motor on it, or the master cylinder itself is bad, it also can cause u to have no pedal, replace the master cylinder first, most likely cheaper.

When the ABS light is on when driving there is a problem in the anti lock brake system and you will need to have it tested to find out what the problem is. As long as the light is on the ABS has been shut off by the computer until it is repaired. There could be problems with one of the wheel speed sensors, wiring or the ABS pump. On some vehicles the red brake light will come on too.

It is most likely a bad front wheel speed sensor.Your sure abs rings were on back of rotors?It is going to be next to impossible to fix without getting the code with a scanner
