You can purchase a replacement carafe for the Hamilton Beach 44755 Coffee Maker online from the following wesbite:

You may need to run a pot of white vinegar and water (50/50) through several times to flush out the line and heater. Make sure that the plate under the pot is getting very hot or it won't pump water from the reservoir. Hope this helps!

mine decided to disable that function altogether, and it wont shut off unless I unplug it. Nice, safe piece of ****, Hamilton Beach!
