I had the same problem. If you are using a french version of Windows, try to switch your regional settings to "English US". It worked for me. Every time we use an English software on a French version of Windows, we have compatibility problem... ;)

I can not remember if you have this option in the program or not, but try and open the program, look for a menu called options or preferences. Look there for a menu that will allow you to copy all artwork to the hard drive. Hope this will Fix Ya up.

Welcome to Fixya. You will have to contact the maker of Print Master in order to verify your purchase and get a new/ your old key back. Otherwise, there is no way to verify that you actually paid for the software and simply lost the key. If you are trying to get a key without paying, that constitutes software piracy which is illegal and violates the terms and conditions of this site.

I don't think Printer Master Platinum 10 will run on Windows 7. However, solution #3 on this page (http://www.fixya.com/support/t2129564-printmaster_platinum_10_version_will_not) references how to make it run on Windows Vista. The same is true for Windows 7. You can run almost any software in compatibility mode. Since they're up to version 18, I doubt it will work with Windows 7.

Hello, I had the same issue, I found this article http://support.encore.com/technicalsupport/kb.aspx?kb_id=1250&product_id=2643 It pretty much says that your regional setting is not set to English United States. Changing that will resolve the issue. Under Control Panel > Regional Settings.

If you're doing the installation from a cd, make sure it is not scratched. If is scratched you can get a copy from the internet. Which is okay since you already have a serial key that was bought.

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))

I installed PrintMaster Platinum 2011 and it first said that I didn't have the correct version of Java for my Mac. I downloaded the required version and was able to proceed with the installation. Did the error happen to say what version of Java is required? If so, going to the Java website and getting the newest update for Windows XP would probably allow you to go ahead and install PrintMaster.

try uninstalling it then reinstall

These types of problems are very difficult pinpoint, especially over the internet.

First and easiest thing to try is uninstalling the program, reboot the computer, re-install.

Hopefully it's just a minor bug that can be sorted out easily.

I'd also recommend defragging the computer after re-installing the software with Defraggler. It's free, just google to find it.

When you put the Program install disk in follow the prompt but instead of selecting the "Typical" instalation select "Custom". This way the install will instruct you to select the two or one or none Art cd.s. I assume your copy of Printmast 17 Platinum has all 4 cd's?.If not then you will only have installed about clip 950 art etc. instead of 19,000 plus when you install the Art disk 1&2.
The only drawback is that the two art disc's add another 1gb to the hard drive usage.

just do a "save as" and select the format you want that will open in another program. you can select your hard drive then as well

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to Broderbund Graphics Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE Choose Task Manager That will show all instances of the program being open.
