Unlock password

Sorry, but only you (and possibly the previous owner) knows what your password is. You can try formatting the card but realize that you will loose any files that are stored on the disk.

HOW TO REMOVE THE PASSWORD OF TDK MEMORY CARD

What kind of Password? Was it encrypted with BitLocker or TrueCrypt? If either, and you don't know the password, you will have to format it (wipe it blank) and start over... Provided its one of the above scenarios. If not, may be able to brute-force it... L can not copy anything to SD card it says remove writer protection

Take your memory card out of the camera and switch the position of the "lock" tab. One position is for "locked" (i.e., "Write Protected") and the other position will allow the card to be written to (unlocked). Some cameras have image protection built into the on-camera software and you may need to configure this there.

Sd card is detected but cant open

I find that the easiest place to find files on a HDD or SD card that i connect but the drive comes up is by going right click on computer and going to the manage option.

I then go down to disk management and look for the storage that I have added.

Then right click on "change drive letter and path" and add give the storage a drive letter

For some reason the computer sometimes does not complete this part which leaves the drive unreadable

It is always a good thing to do to go to device drivers to check that you can see the drivers for the device being installed. This can be achieved by removing and replacing the storage device while device manager is open

My micro sd card is

1. Try to verify if the SD card is still working by plug it in on another known good source (example computer, camera... etc.)
2. If it not working you have to replace the card itself
3. If it is working on another source. try to go to device manager and uninstall / reinstall the drivers for SD card. by doing this right click on the SD driver itself and left click on uninstall. Right click on the "computer name" under device manager and then Click on "Scan for Hardware Changes"
4. If you have a cd for the sd card slot well and good
5. got to safe mode see if the SD card is detected on safe mode
6. Also you might want to scan the computer for any viruses
