You forgot to log on with your PIN number. Type your secret clerk code number and press the cashier key to sign on. If you forgot your PIN number, you can generate one with the programming manual. Remove the digit limit. Theres a code in the manual somewhere to remove limit on cash key

You have a digit limit set on the cash button. It has been programmed to allow only a small amount to be paid via cash. You need to look up the codes for digit limit (HALO) in your manual and it will guide you through the processes for setting a digit limit on the cash button. It was common for this series to have corrupted IPL (firmware) and they would often lock up during init. Have a dealer load a later firmware into it if possible and see if it fixes the problem.

Two very real possibilities. The machine received water damage, or the CPU blew up. Usually when you see all 0's in a display that is what it indicates. Sorry. Fortunately those are very cheap machines.

Hi Cahla. Turn the key to Z1 mode then type 14 CASH. This will print a PLU report. Remember, the first one will have huge figures if you haven't used this report before.
