As a temporary fix, which won't look good but works as a temp: Cut a piece of thick cardboard, such as the corrugated type from a packaging carton. Trim one edge perfectly straight. Place straight edge against inside wall. Mark width with sharp pencil or pen. Cut parallel to first cut. Repeat for length so you have a 'spacer' to press battery down. Take duct tape, trim end 90' square, start sticking from one side of phone at back, keeping a bit of tension. Continue to other side of phone. Cut tape and rub down. Duct tape comes in different colors, is very strong and sticks like crazy.

please complete the upgrade and this problem will be resolved.

Go to hp.com and enter the model# of the ipaq and it will direct you to the correct drivers for your dedvice

Your battery is bad change it. Remove the battery and look at it to see if you see a bubble in the center of it if it's there means the battery has reached it's life time

Not a problem it happens just go to hp.com download the bios driver and use it on windows xp it will not work with anyother windows and run it with your ipaq connected to the pc. This will reinstall the complete bios software and bring it back to factory.

Try resetting it complete. press the coner buttons the left and right lower buttons while holding them also hold down power button while holding all 3 buttons reset the ipaq from the pin hole on the back for 5 sec. and see if that helps. Please keep me posted

You battery is no good anylonger it happened to me. Remove the battery and look at it towards you if you see any lumps in the center then the battery is dead wont charge. I had the problem to where it can only power up on usb or charge connection. i hope this helps as it did me.

Hi there, I think you pressed some more buttons and accidentaly you entered your device into Serial Mode (Bootloader), which you should update your ROM or reinstall your existing ROM in order to exit that state. I am sending you a link to HP website including your device's ROM upgrade download link, and a complete list of instructions. First of all, connect your device with a usb cable to your PC and see the "USB Mode" in the screen of your PDA. If you mean the software to synchronize it with your PC, you can download it directly from MS. Select either ActiveSync (for Windows XP) or WMDC (for Vista and 7). Take a look here.

have you tried starting the ROM update over. if it recognizes part of the update it may give you an out back to your previous version. good luck.

What you are seeing is the Bootloader screen. Sounds like you screwed up when you tried to upgrade your firmware. Try running the firmware update again or download a more recent firmware from HP. If you are lucky, the firmware update should work in that bootloader mode.

i have a spectrum24 la4137 wireless card.but when i insert into my HP IPAQ H2200.I KEEP GETTING THE MESSAGE.it does not recognise the network card.-KENNY.
