Erasing selected file You can delete a file by the following steps: 1. Select folder (A, B, C , D or ) 2. Select file. 3. Press ERASE once and DELETE will blink on the screen. 4. Press and hold ERASE for 3 seconds to confirm deleting. (or press STOP to cancel erasing file) Erasing all files in a folder You can delete all files in a specific folder by the following steps: 1. Turn on the unit. 2. Select a folder (A, B, C , D or ). 3. In Stop mode, press FORWARD continuously until "ALL" appears on the display. 4. Press ERASE and "DELETE" will blink on the display. 5. Press and hold ERASE for about 3 seconds, all files in the selected folder will be erased completely (or press STOP to cancel erasing all files). Mistakenly you deleted them, so no way to recover. Compare the 2 statements: "I found the place but they are all gone." "I couldn't find the place". Your situation is the former, so is not you failed to find the location where the files were. You knew the location.

You should setup 2 different work types. Have the dictator select the work type prior to dictating the job. The higher priority work type should be sorted higher up in the pool script for Enterprise Express. If this is a Straight Talk, simply have the dictator select work type 2 (priority) and that job will come to you first. Solution for this problem is to Format the recorder. Step 1 is to turn on unit. Step 2 Press Erase " Delete will flash on the display. Step 3 Press and hold Rec for 3 seconds "Format" will flash on the display. Step 4 Press and hold Erase, the completed percentage will show on the display (formatting is now in progress). Step 5 After formatting is completed the remaining time will show on the display. You should now be able to record. Make sure that you hold the ERASE button in step 4 until Formatting shows 100% complete.

The RCA5030 comes with a USB cable. You'll need to connect the voice recorder using that that cable to your computer and you should see the recorder appear as another drive on the computer from which you can copy files to and from. The files will be in mp3 format.

I have used Adobe Audition 1.0 - works great, you can filter noise & use equalizer.
