Error says, " The layout you have selected cannot be loaded. Please select a different layout using the Home Screen item in Settings." The screen is white with black print reading this, and shows nothing else. It just came up with no warning. When I try to go to the home screen settings, there is nothing for me to choose from anymore. All the categories are blank. Help!
This is a fairly rare problem, but it does happen with the Blackjack and other Windows Mobile devices.
First thing to try is:
Start -> Settings -> Display -> Home Screen -> (your carrier) Default
If this option or no options are visible, attempt to move right or left a couple of times (if you are in the list mode, move up and down) and then hit 'OK'
If this does not work, you will need to do a factory restore on your device:
WARNING - Restoring the factory settings on your device may cause the loss of all of your data that is not stored on the memory card or backed up elsewhere. Please back up your data before doing a factory reset and remove your memory card during the procedure:
From within the Software:
1. Start -> Settings -> More -> SECURITY -> More -> Reset
2. Enter '0000' and hit 'OK'
From the Powered off state:
1. Power off the device
2. Hold down the 'UP' navigation arrow while pressing the power button.
3. You will be presented with a 'format' menu, hold
Good luck!

Is there a way to block calls from numbers on my Samsung Black Jack?
I think you were asking about how to reject incoming calls, but if you were asking about blocking your own caller id there is another way.
Under settings -> Phone -> all calls - > caller ID
here you can set your caller id to be given to everyone, only people in your contacts or no one!

Hi Guys,
Just curious I have a motorola f3 phone and it is locked to the optus network in Australia. The unlock codes that I have searched for so far will cost me more then the phone is worth. Can you recommend any sites where I can just type in the imei and get the unlock code please? Optus is trying to charge us $80 AUD dollars!!! lol
Hi there
I spent a while trying to find the right tools. You'll need a usb to f3 cable (actually a usb-serial cable) and download the tools from this site. http://motorola-f3-unlock.tumblr.com/

THe BlackJack phone will only charge while its turned on! If you allow it to go totally dead you cannot recharge it. You will have to get a new battery.

can any one help me i have cingular and need to unlock this sgh t219 tmobile phone thx
PERMANENT UNLOCK CODE SAMSUNG SGH T219-T329
Insert ANY unaccepted SIM card in the phone and then turn the phone on,
follow the steps in 1 to 4 below to enter all the codes. The phone will
switch itself off and then on at step 2 but do not switch off the phone
by yourself until all steps are completed. Take your time to enter the
code correctly at each step. When entering some of the zeros at steps 3
and 4 your phone may display the zero as hyphen or minus (-), dont
worry, just count when entering the zero to ensure you enter just the
right numbers of zeros. Now let's begin.
1/ Put any unaccepted SIM card in your SAMSUNG SGH T219 or T329, turn the phone on, it will display WRONG CARD
2/ Type *2767*3855# and wait for about 25 seconds for the phone to reboot all the way to the welcome screen
3/ While at the welcome screen, type *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
4/ After completion of step 3 above then type #7465625*638*00000000#
At the end of step 4 phone will show "network lock deactivated"
Enjoy your unlocked phone!

Hello, I just bought a new unlocked Blackjack II, and I am unable to connect to internet and send/receive MMS, and I need some helping setting it all up.
I called cellone and at&t and they were no help.
Now I have a blackjack ii, with a CELL ONE sim card in it. It is sim unlocked.
I've visted all the past posts with settings, and the searched theat&t support board. I also looked at the one with pictures walkingyou through it.
None of these settings have worked.
I'm sure there is more than one person needing help with this, and isprobably going to wait for a reply from this post, so I would love somehelp!
Also, if possible, and you own a Blackjack II, maybe you could post your MMS and Internet settings!
I would really really love to be able to use my internet and send and recieve multimedia messages.
I do have a full date plan.
Thank you, and please if possible, reply, I really hope to god I can get my internetsettings working with Cellular One.

I have tried hard reset, stuff like that, nothing fixes it. And i have gone into the connections and it will only let me turn bluetooth on. not the wireless...
From the Samsung web site:
How Do I Access Airplane Mode On My MetroPCS SCH-I220 (Code) Phone?
Although the handset does not feature the traditional airplane mode function, all wireless connections can be disabled while still allowing the use other common tasks, such as Microsoft Office Mobile applications, Windows Media Player and games.
To disable all wireless connections follow the steps below:
To turn off flight mode, repeat these steps and it should turn your phone back on.
