But is the y-axis also upside down? I tried to create such a condition bur setting Xmin=6.3, Xmax=-6.3 and a similar transposition for Ymin and Ymax. All I got is a Syntax error. I even changed the scale to be negative. Nothing doing. Syntax Error.Now How did you do that? Show us a picture of the screen. A screen capture will do.

When I type in a function for y1 and have it in

A linear function in standard form is of the form Ax+By+C=0, where A is a positive integer, B and C are integers (positive or negative). The problem is that calculators graph a function given in functional form y= ax+b.Thus to graph a function in standard form by means of a graphing utility you must isolate the y variable. The interesting thing about the Prizm (Casio graphing calculator) is that you select which variable to isolate y (usually) or x if you so choose. To choose to graph the function x=Dy+E you must select the function type as X=.

[OPTN][LIST] scroll right till you find %. It is used inside programs and works on lists.Create a list of data and type it in under STAT2_2_2013_10_57_12_pm.jpgClose the list editor (Press Menu to go to Run>Mat). In Run>Mat Press OPTN>List>F6..>%.The word Percent is displayed. Enter the name List (OPTN>List) then the list number (1-6). This is what you see (without the owrd Done).2_2_2013_11_00_36_pm.jpgPress the EXEThe calculator displays a list with the same dimension as List 1. Each element represent the % of the corresponding element of list 1 with respect to the total of the list L1.In fact it calculates the relative frequency of each element.2_2_2013_11_04_55_pm.jpgMaybe that does not answer your question but really converting a decimal to a percent value or a percentage into a decimal is a rather trivail matter. Just move the decimal mark (if there is none put one at the end of the number) two places to the left to get the decimal equivalent or two places to the right to get the percent equivalent of a decimal number.

How to solve definite integrals between two limits

To calculate the definite integral (integral with specified lower and upper bounds)
  1. In Run/Math screen press OPTN
  2. Press F4:CALC
  3. Press F4:$ (integral)
  4. After the $( type in the function of X, enter comma, enter the lower bound, comma, upper bound, right parenthesis to close.
  5. Press =
Another way is to graph the function. While graph is displayed press SHIFT: F5:G-Solve, then F6>, Then F3:$( Use arrow key to select the lower bound, then select select the upper bound. Press = to get result. The area concerned will appear shaded. Note: There is a drawback to this method. The lower and upper limits must be inside the graph window limits.

How to solve the inverse of a 3x3 matrix

You can jump to the end of the post for you answer. A. Define the matrix (Create it) Turn calculator ON. Press Menu,select the MAT icon and press [EXE] You see a list of possible matrix labels (A, B, C,D,E,F) All that have not been created have a "none" to their right Highlight a matrix name and press the right arrow. Where there was "none" , you have a template 0x0. That is where you specify the dimensions (mxn). exemple. 2x2 Enter the first dimension and press [EXE] Enter the 2nd dimension and press [EXE] A matrix template opens where you enter the coefficients left to right and up down. After each coefficient press [EXE]. Cursor moves to the next coefficient, etc.At the bottom of the screen you have 3 menus for Row and column manipulations. But those will have to wait for now.Press [SHIFT][QUIT] to return to the list of matrices to create new onesB. Operations on matricesOnce you have one matrix, you can do operations on it: Calculate the determinant (if matrix is square), calculate its inverse, transpose, augment it, fill it, etc.. These operations are accessed as follows. Quit the matrix editor by pressing [Menu] and selecting the [Run] application. Press [OPTN][F2:MAT] You have the menus Mat,M(atrix)->L(ist), Det(erminant), Trn (transpose), Aug(ment) ->, Iden(tity),Dim(ension) FillExemple : calculate the determinant of a matrix A (already defined). You press the [OPTN][F2:MAT] key sequence (just above) Press [F3:Det]; the command det is displayed on screen. Press [F1:Mat] the identifier Mat is displayed. Press [ALPHA] A; screen display det Mat A. Press [EXE] to get the value of the determinant.C. Square of Matrix A[OPTN][F2:MAT] (MAT) [Alpha] A ^2 [EXE]D. Edit Casio FX - 9860G SD have complex equations??

Thhe Casio FX-9860G SD can solve a polynomial equation of degree 2 or 3 with REAL coefficients. If the complex MODE is set to REAL it will find the real roots. If the complex mode is set to a+ib, it will find the real and complex roots. Apparently it will take coefficients that are real, and will give a Ma Error if any coefficient is complex.Addendum.The calculator CANNOT solve equations with complex coefficient. YOU can however convert the system of linear equations with ccomplex coefficients ( of the type you show) as a system of 4 linear equations in 4 unknowns; Split x into a real and an imaginary part, split y into a real and an imaginary part. Substitute Real(x)+iIm(x) for variable x in the equations; substitute Real(y)+iIm(y) for y in the two equations; do the algebra. In each of the original equations split the Real and imaginary parts. You should be able to derive 4 linear equations in unknowns Real(x), Im(x), Real(y), and Im(y).Use the linear equation solver to obtain the solutions. Recompose x=Real(x)+iIm(x), and y=Real(y)+iIm(y)Alternatively, after you create the system of 4 linear equations you can use the matrix utility to find Real(x), Im(x), Real(y) and Im(y) and recompose the x and y.

Can you calculate indefinite integrals on the casio fx-9860G

Unfortunately, the Casio FX-9860 G does not have a Computer Algebra System or CAS. For this reason it can only calculate definte integral over a given interval. The lower and upper limits must be supplied. The result will be a number. Casio calculators that have a CAS are the Casio ClassPad CP330/ 300Plus/ 330, or the Algebra FX 2.0.

Hello How to solve complex

The simultaneous equation solver requires the coefficients to be real. Similarly matrices must have real coefficients.
Your only alternative is to express each of A and B as a real part and imaginary part.
A= x1+iy1
B=x2+iy2.
Substitute x1+iy1 for A in the two equations. Substitute x2+iy2 for B in the two equations. Do the algebra. Gather real parts and gather imaginary parts. Split each original equation into two equations: One equation comes from setting Real Part of left side = real part of right side (1); the other equations comes from setting the imaginary part of left side= imaginary part of right side (here 0).

Do the same procedure for the 2nd original equation.
At the end of the process you will have 4 coupled linear equations in the 4 unknowns (x1,y1,x2,y2).

Then you might want to use the calculator to solve the derived system. Once you have x1,y1,x2,y2 you reconstruct A=x1+iy1, etc.
