Va712 no display

Right click on speaker icon and it will give you choices for volume control. Your volume is prolly all the way dowmn or off.

Customer care service

Open monitor and look at power supply board for capacitors which are "balooning" or deformed in any way. These look like cylindars on the board. These tend to dry out and make what you are describing occur. Replacing them usually fixes about 80% of the problem you are describing. Those parts run about $0.25 to $0.75 each.. well worth trying, right?

Get my display to 1920 x 1080

When you are in display options and can see monitor 1 and 2... when you select 2 you should be able to adjust the display resolution there. If you cannot do that for some reason, try the video card software that is specific to your video card as there might be better options in there for managing monitor 2.

Shuts off after start up

Usually need to open up and replace bulging electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board.

Change display landscape

Right click anywhere on your desktop. Choose Screen resolution. In the box that pops up you will see a tab call orientation. You can change between landscape and portrait. You can also get to this menu by clicking Start, control panel, display. Then choose Change Display Settings on the right side of the box that opens

Flashing blue and black on the screen

Hi there , if you can activate menu on screen , then try to change the video input source to something like VGA , and be sure that You've connected some video source with VGA cable prior to this. Sometime when there is no input signal (especially digital like HDMI) it flashes like that. Hope this helps .Cheers.

Can I run a ViewSonic VA2342 screen safely with a Belkin Battery Backup Rev B?

Should be ok if power supply same voltage as original.Make sure you connect correct way around.
