Under-dash Mounting: Select a mounting location that allows easy, safe access to the control while driving. The BassLink LC has mounting "ears" to use as a template for drilling pilot holes. Attach screws through the "ears" to secure the BassLink LC to the mounting surface. In-dash Mounting: Disassemble the BassLink LC by removing the Phillips-head screws on the front, rear, and top panels. Remove the bottom and side panels and disengage the RJ11 connector from the back panel. Choose a mounting location that allows easy, safe access to the control, and provides 1-3/4" clearance behind the mounting surface. Drill a 9/32" hole in the mounting surface. Feed the BassLink LC's potentiometer (with the knob removed) through the hold and use the nut provided to hold the control in place. Connecting to BassLink: Route the cable behind the dash or other interior panels and under the carpet. Do not route the cable outside the vehicle. Your question can't be answered without knowing the impedance of the subs. Are they 1 ohm, 2 ohm, 3 ohm, or 4 ohm coils on those dvc subs? Are you saying your amp IS 2 ohm stable?

I'm assuming you're talking about the factory Infinity amplifier from a late 90's Chrysler/Dodge vehicle, and likely trying to reuse or repurpose this into another vehicle? See the attached photos for the wiring diagram of the stereo circuit with the amplifier, as well as the wiring pin-outs for both connectors

Could be a component inside the unit breaking down

hi Frank. if you go to this link have a scroll down the page and have a read up on what has been said about the amplifier you are talking about. Need power plug for infinity amp model 255 . plus i am finding out that you try ebay might help you but its not called a power plug. they are calling it a WECO connector..or.. U need to buy a cable, usually red and has a fuse. . or call the manufacturer.

The most common cause of this is the capacitors in the crossover network fail and cause all the wattage to go to that speaker.
