you need tofind the correct driver for your sound card look at driver detective.com

hi...to restore pc to factory setting u need to have the CD for operating system installed in ur pc....if u have the CD please insert CD and keep tapping f12 and then press any key to boot from CD...there u get 2 option either to reinstall OS or to repair the PC ...u can choose repair option first if it fails then clean install the PC

if u have XP already installed then click start and right click on icons and select show on desktop,,,,else restart PC and keep tapping f8....you will see a black screen with safemode option try entering safe mode...if fails then u will need XP cd to repair windows

Hi Jean,I don't believe it would be economically viable for you to purchase the front panel which houses the on/off switch. This may prove costly.I would rather look out for a new case with power supply and transfer your motherboard etc. to the new case.You should be able to get a new case & power supply from your local PC shop for under $50.Best wishes,Graemevm

try to isolate the problem 1st the power supply, if you have an extra pc try to remove the working power supply and put it to a non-working pc, same thing with the memory and video card, remember one a a time to figure out what is really problem ok, i hope this simple tips will help you to solved your problem : )

You can visit computer shop, they usually carry a stock or one can be ordered for your system.

If you visit Acer's website and look under their Support you can find the driver for that model.

Just put the model name into the search field and download the latest sound driver (usually they're called Audio Drivers)

if its the windows password you forget , the one it asks before logging into windows then you may be able to override it by booting into safemode (press F8 before windows starts) and then choosing to log into administrator instead of your own account, then click start > control panel >user accounts. Choose your account and then click on remove password. Then just restart the pc and you wont be prompted for a password. This will only work if you have not set your account as the only administrator.

make the start size 1000 and max size 2000
this should cover your problem

I would suggest making sure the discs are in prestine condition and also that your your cd rom is clean as well if nothing happens still you should contact the manufacturer about maybe downloading the restore disc to another media i.e. zip drive or external HD and simply boot from that to do a restoration

Please check you power settings on the control panel. set is in none.
