Hi there, the higher the number the colder the fridge, unless the numbers are in degrees. If it's numbered 1-6, 6 is the coldest. -Alex

u can get parts online just put be809 thermostat and your area were u r too. it should bring a list of shops ect to buy it from ...try ebay too. or if you are in uk i can order it and send to u. bsc appliances 07779933829

Is your circulating fan working?
Sometimes they stick and need a shot of WD 40 and then work
it back and forth a little until it wants to take off again. Keep me informed

i am going to tell you the possible whys, not how-to fixes because that will take too long.
Compressor not running
short of freon
if have (freezer fan not running)
if have (condenser fan not running)
thermostat not working
defrost (if have) not working
timer (if have) not working
wasnt sure so i wrote if have... could not find a diagram of all the parts listed for this freezer

If the freezer is working properly then the circuit that feeds the power to the power light is not working or the light itself is burned out. Either one or the other.
