Step by step instructions are too much to understand. I know how to set up gamepads... at least Logitech gamepads for now. I ve made several setups. You can ask me for setup for a game of your choice and i can try my best to help you. Visit this video for some of the most popular setups:
2. Once you are done with the Drivers checkpoint of drivers then check the USB port where you dock the plug of your Controller by testing a USB flash drive or anything else. If the USB is not working in proper manner change the port for USB.
3. If the issue is still not resolved then try the Controller on different PC just to make sure the Controller is perfectly working. If this test fails then you will need to buy a new Controller.
Thats all, it is as simple as that. Don't forget to rate me if it works.
America's Army doesn't support controllers natively (or they didn't the last time I played). You'll have to use a software emulator to make the game think you are using a mouse and keyboard while you use the controller.
I have this controller and it should have come with a logitech disk that has software on it to achieve this.
You might want to check out this site or this site for other software solutions.
Normally, most controller is just plug & play item.. However, some controller need its software installed on your computer...... These type of controller come with the installation CD..... So, place that CD into your computer and then install it... After it completes, you can use the controller on your lovely computer... If it is still not working, that mean your controller is condemned... Go to the shop again.. Get it replaced under the warranty...
Good Luck on trying it..
download xpadder from xpadder.com then it will work like normal, just assign the keys from the keyboard and mouse to match where you want the functions on the controller, very simple to use and works really well
you have to assign the speciffic buttons to certain places i suggest you ask someone on something like those remote control places they we get it fixed if you get the right person.
it should be quite simple, just go to the settings of the game and then to controls, there you have to assign the controls to the pad.
if for some reason that does not work, then you may have to use the logitech profiler that comes with the controller to assing different keyboard keys into the buttons.
if you don't have the cd or the software, you can obtain it from here .
If you already set up your xbox 360 controller then you need to get xpadder, it configures your controls to the keyboard buttons. get it here:http://www.soft82.com/get/download/windows/xpadder/
Download this and activate it for MW2 and you shoudl be able to configure the controls to suit the way you like it, From my experiences with controllers on PC's the sensitivity up and down is different to left and right.
On the call of duty, there should be a option somewhere in the game for tools or perference. Underneath that you click on controller and click on logitech.
It sounds like there is an electrical short in the game pad's cable. If it is under warranty, you should contact Logitech. If not, it is unlikely that you will be able to fix this. It clearly sounds unsafe to continue to use it.
It depends whether the game supports it or not. Usually the settings are found ingame, so you'll have to load the game first, then check the controller settings.
If you haven't tried this, go to control panel, and detect new hardware, you may have to poke around to find this, but it should be under printers and hardware. Make sure that the device is fully plugged in, and if it uses USB and your PC has more than one USB port, try a different port. Otherwise, the controller may be defective, but you can try calling the helpline for the company, and inquiring if they can help you hook it up. There may be a trick none of us know.
