Read page 14 from the users manual to reset the custom password & other settings.
Users manual at > http://www.belkin.com/support/product/?lid=en&pid=F5D8233-4
find the default Password at > Page 24 and reconfigure your router settings.

Tried to secure my wireless connection, but all I did was stop my Belkin adapter from getting internet access. I now can't log onto my Belkin router setup page anymore. Can't I just reset this? I can get online fine, but I want to undo the WAN username and password, but I can't access 192.168.2.1 anymore. I keep getting a search page.
There should be a small reset pin hole in the back of the device. Hold down the reset button for 15 seconds and it should reset the router to factory defaults

My router is not security enabled. How can I go in and change the settings?
In your web browser type in www.192.168.2.1
When it asks for a password press enter or try admin if that doesn't work. When you log in look for a section that says wireless security section. It will ask whether you want WEP or WPA. Choose WPA and set the password.

1.Type 192.168.2.1 in the internet explorer, you will see a belkin router setup page
2.On your left hand side click on Wifi Protected Setup(WPS),it wll asks for password, leave it balnk and click on submit
3.Change the WPS as disabled and click on Apply changes
4.On your left hand side click on Channel and SSID,change the SSID name to any other as you wish and click on apply changes
5.Now try to connect to the new network name which you changed

router/power light constantly flashing cannot make any connection to computer
try to reset the router. On the router you will find the reset button. press it and hold it down for 30 seconds. release the reset after 30 seconds. wait for 1 minute. unplug the power and plug it back in. wait for 1 minute and check if the power light stays solid.
If not then try to reset the router again.
check if the power light stays solid.
check the IP address on the computer. If you are getting a valid IP address then try to open the set up page of the router.
If you are not getting the valid IP address and power light is not solid then I think you will need a new router.

I have a comtrend ADSL2+Ethernet Router hooked to my desktop Pc and a G-Wireless Router made by Belkin.According to the tech I should be able to connect these two to use my Laptops, but any way I've tried doesn't work. I no longer have the Belkin Disk. So what do I need to make this work?
You dont need a Belkin Disk to set up - this can be done manually
you can get a manual from this site
http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/product/list/q/routers/
select G in the first dropdown and then your model - theres two to choose from and then then the version
you have a choice - you could change the comtrend router to just use the modem - bridged mode - they have a few different routers
see here http://www.comtrend.com/links/i$residential-adsl2-modem-router$product.htm so not sure which one you have
if you can bridge to just use the modem then connect tothe Belkin and all PCs should connect to the Belkin
OR you can connect two routers together
Leave the comtrend router set as it is -
Set the IP address of belkin router to same subnet as the comtrend.
Depending on the DHCP range of the comtrend router - set the IP outside this range - so if comtrend is set to give an ip of 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.100 - set the belkin to 192.168.0.254
Disable the DHCP in the belkin.
Connect the comtrend LAN to one of the Belkin LAN ports - you may need to use a crossover cable.
On the belkin the WAN port will be left unconnected

My iphone will not "see" my belkin wireless router. All 6 computers in my house "see" and connect to this router. I have tried everything I know.
Help
Chris
It can be that your iphone doesnt work with 2.5ghz but maybe 5Ghz. Try setting up your router with 5Ghz and see if that will help
