Looking for the general password for the belkin54g

Hi I have lost my instructional manual for the belkin54g and need the general password for the wireless connection. Does anyone know it? or how it reset the password ? thanks

    Son has laptop connected via Belkin F5D8233-4 and entered password. I have recently purchased an additional laptap and want to connect it to same router however son unable to find password/keyword to enable me to do so. Any help would be gratefully received.

Read page 14 from the users manual to reset the custom password & other settings.
Users manual at > http://www.belkin.com/support/product/?lid=en&pid=F5D8233-4
find the default Password at > Page 24 and reconfigure your router settings.

its the same password for the wireless account it wouldnt be on the router. when you installed the router to your computer you needed a password whatever you put in for the password its the same thing

I have a belkin54g router that has this error message on it. Ive gone to the 192.168.2.1 browser and set up a 64bitWEP. i want to set up a password to connect to my router for security
Is there any computer connected to the router ?
If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router.
Do not change any wireless settings on the router with the wireless computer.
you will need to connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable.
check the IP address of the computer.
open the router set up page of the router.
Here you can change the wireless settings of the router.
Now once you change the network anme and security on the router, you will need to connect to the wireless network on your wireless computers.

From that computer, access the router's built-in web-interface,
as per the instructions that came with the router.

check your router and make sure there is no password in the security tab. You may need to use a wep or wap pass phrase a password to connect.

Password for belkin54g
There is no default WEP / WPA key for belkin54g routers. The default password to access the setup is blank. Try going to 192.168.2.1 in internet explorer (where you would usually type the address of the site in), and see if you can find out the WEP / WPA Key.
