Toshiba MK 4025GAS (MK4025GAS) 40 GB Hard Drive Questions & Answers
Rebuild a hard drive
Have you tried it in another computer as a secondary/data drive to see if you can read it?
Try removing it from the computer, putting in a zip lock bag and then in the freezer for a day or so before putting it back in the computer.
Alternatively google to see if you can get a replacement circuit board. Could work for an older drive like that.
Smart failure predicted on hard
It means that your hard drive is going to crash soon. If all of your important stuff is on there and you don't have an external hard driver or flash driver, shut down the computer until you do. Once you own another hard drive, boot back up and start the backing up process. There is a fantastic free backup program available here:

One trick I've found that works is placing the hard drive in a refrigerator for 30 mins before using it. This will extend it's life by at least 15 minutes.
Good luck to you, and pleas leave me a positive rating! :)

Toshiba washing machine model AW-DK1700WMM has turn on, beeps with error code EL then shut down within 5 seconds, how can I slove this problem?
To fix the EL error code:
* Make sure the door is completely closed and latched securely. A loose or broken latch can cause the error.
*Examine the door lock for any damage, dirt, or debris that could prevent it from working properly. Clean the area thoroughly.
* Turn off the washing machine, then unplug it for a few minutes. Plug it back in and restart it. This may resolve communication issues that trigger the error.
* Examine the wiring connections between the door lock system and the control panel. Faulty connections, such as loose or damaged wires, can disrupt communication and lead to the error message.
